Method
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside.
- Stretch pizza dough on parchment paper and brush with olive oil.
- Sprinkle garlic, salt, and pepper over the dough.
- Add mozzarella, ricotta (if using), lemon zest, and thin lemon slices.
- Bake 10–13 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
- Top with fresh basil and optional red pepper flakes or honey drizzle. Slice and serve.
Notes
Slice lemons very thin to avoid bitterness. Fresh mozzarella works best for melting.
